Group Business Controller to Karo Healthcare 

Gazella is now recruiting a business-driven, analytical, and communicative Group Business Controller for Karo Healthcare. As Group Business Controller, you will hold a senior position and be responsible for reporting, analyzing, and improving the business, identifying opportunities for optimization, and supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.

You will be part of a global Business Control team and report to the Head of Business Control. This role requires a deep understanding of business operations, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization. You will be a visible and influential resource within the organization, acting as a business partner to stakeholders, board members, and investors.

You will be located at the HQ in central Stockholm, Norrmalm, with the opportunity to work in a hybrid model. This position may require occasional travel to different business units or client locations. Furthermore, it is important that you are fluent in English and possess strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to Karo’s owners and Group Management
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements for the group 
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards for senior management
  • Analyze large sets of data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Use advanced analytical techniques and tools (e.g., predictive modeling, machine learning) to support business decision-making
  • Communicate financial results and strategies to stakeholders, including senior management, board members, and investors

Experience

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have a university degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Computer Science, along with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in business analysis or business control. We also expect that you are accustomed to transforming large amounts of complex data into useful information that adds value to the business. You should be familiar with financial systems and BI tools, with excellent skills in Excel.

Experience with SQL, R, and Python is an advantage but not a requirement. Your previous work should have required strong analytical skills, the ability to turn analysis into actionable insights, and the ability to collaborate and communicate cross-departmentally to drive actions. You should have a clear focus on improving processes and results, with a strong commercial orientation. It is also important that you can manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure. Finally, you must have excellent communication skills and be fluent in English.
